The DEGREES Project Survey

Dear DEGREES Project Scholar:

Student Academic Success and Educational Equity Programs (SASEEP) is proud to announce the DEGREES Project, a new program that has been launched to support your success at the University. The DEGREES Project is “Dedicated to Educating, Graduating, and Retaining Educational Equity Students.”

Overall, the program is designed to expedite your time to degree, to enhance your academic performance, and to help you maximize the use of campus resources.

To get you started with accessing program services, please complete the DEGREES PROJECT SURVEY. The information gathered from this survey will help us better gauge your academic needs and recommend the appropriate services that will advance you toward degree completion. After completing the survey, a DEGREES Project Coach will contact you to further discuss services to support your academic goals.

General education advising refers to advising from a faculty and/or staff member to answer any questions related to general education, graduation requirements, grading policies, etc. to help students advance in their educational and career goals.

   

Peer advising refers to student-to-student advising to provide a different perspective on the college-going experience. Peer advisors can serve as an academic advisor, a mentor, and a resource to the campus and community.

   

Major advising refers to advising from a faculty member within a major department that answers questions pertaining to requirements within that particular major to help students advance in their academic plan.
